DOGUE Country Retreat is currently seeking a Weekend Animal Attendant Supervisor to join the team in Berrima, NSW Southern Highlands.
In this role, you will take on a supervisory position, overseeing the general day to day of the facility and the team.
About the Role:
- Part-Time opportunity (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday each week) OR (Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week)
- Shifts times vary from 7am-3pm and 9am-5pm.
- Immediate start or within the next few weeks.
- On some shifts you will oversee and supervise our retreat staff and efficiently handle anything urgent.
- Welcome pets and owners to the Country Retreat, delivering a premium experience.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs for boarding, doggy daycare, or grooming visits.
- Handle phone calls and emails for bookings, responding to inquiries promptly.
- Run front-of-house reception, perform general administration duties, including data entry, report assistance, checklist updates, and payment processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service, consistently seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist Animal Attendants with general dog care, including feeding, medication, welfare checks, and kennel cleaning.
- Maintain premium services, keeping owners informed during their pet's stay.

- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, so that the whole team succeeds.
- Confidence with handling all types of breeds/sizes of dogs
- Dog training and behavioural knowledge is a bonus
- Vet Nursing background is a bonus
- Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role, preferably in petcare.
