Role Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Administrative and Front-of-House Assistant to support our operations both in the office and on our charter boats. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied and dynamic environment, combining administrative duties with the exciting world of tourism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to: handling emails and phone calls, scheduling, data entry, invoicing and managing customer bookings.
Serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing information about our tours and services.
Assist in front-of-house duties on our charter boats, helping to create a memorable experience for our guests.
Support the team in delivering marine services and experiences across the range of business's.
Ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of both roles.
Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
A customer-focused approach, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
Experience in administrative roles and customer service is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings.
A passion for tourism and sharing the beauty of Tasmania with others.
Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business and perform various duties as required.
Current driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to Kingston, Hobart.
A high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
