As a Suspense Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our Insurance Team in effectively managing all aspects of our client services and new business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Risk team by coordinating the suspense process for clients, ensuring all necessary work is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Closely manage, train and support the existing administration team to ensure efficient processes whilst also ‘getting your hands dirty’ as needed
  • Collaborate with the Advice Team to resolve any issues or concerns related to underwriting and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Implement and maintain effective systems and workflows to manage the suspense process, ensuring all suspense items are tracked, followed up, and resolved.
  • Monitor and analyse suspense data, providing regular reports and insights to management to drive process improvements and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in underwriting and administration practices, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of effectively guiding and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with clients, internal teams, and insurance providers.
  • Proficiency in using software and systems for documentation, reporting, and tracking workflows
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly insurance administration, would be highly valued
  • Knowledge of underwriting and administration processes within the insurance industry, with the ability to navigate complex requirements.
  • Familiarity with working within, and adhering to , astringent compliance framework
