Peak Computer has an opening for a motivated, organised and professional Administrative Support member to join our team.
Peak Computer has been a local Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provider for over 25 years in Tasmania, and with offices in Launceston and Hobart is providing small businesses, Local Government, Industry and Commerce with professionally developed IT solutions. Through our sales and support, we have become a trusted IT partner for a diverse range of clients including specialising in medical practices, dental practices, pharmacies, legal & accounting firms, Councils and many small to medium businesses. .
To assist us to continue our high levels of support we require a new team member to join our administration support team. A highly driven employee who can assist all staff within the organisation in administrative and Help Desk tasks, along with some accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll tasks.
Main areas of responsibility will include:
- First point of contact for Help Desk through phone calls and emailed communications.
- Reception through greeting, welcoming and handling both client inquiries, stock and order deliveries and any other visitors to the Launceston office.
- Dispatch role of ConnectWise IT Management Software. Maintain all Service Boards in Connectwise, and various other Connectwise ticket tasks, through to customer order sales and invoicing.
- Stock receiving and reconciliation and allocation to customer orders or stock orders through Connectwise, including labelling and identification of both client and stock goods.
- Reconciliations of Software licencing and subscriptions, Office 365, Anti Virus, Backup and other subscriptions.
- Interface processing into XERO accounting package, and accounts receivable and accounts payable processing and follow up.
- General office duties, inventory and customer requirements, and attentive to tidiness and cleanliness in the office.
- Level 1 technical support as required and directed, including password and identifying changes, backup and disaster recovery monitoring, IT equipment setup and general tasks.
- Assist with domain and DNS management and renewals.
- Assist with reviewing and updating policies and procedures, and also monitoring and management of WH&S Policies & Government legislation.

- Be process driven to ensure the IT Management and integrations software provides accurate and timely data.
The position is based in our modern custom designed Launceston office in Invermay, providing administration support to colleagues and Help Desk co-ordination to clients across Tasmania.
