About the Role
A challenging and diverse, fixed term opportunity is currently available at District 24, Wodonga through to July 2025. As the Brigade Administrative Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to a number of volunteer fire brigades to ensure their capacity and viability is maintained in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily administrative duties which contribute to the support of volunteer groups who service our community.
- Word processing and records management.
- Coordinating meetings, fundraising events and volunteer recruitment activities.
- Support to District 24 Brigades.
About You
To be the successful candidate you must have experience in modern administration, information management and MS Office. You will display excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work to tight timeframes with limited supervision. Ideally you will demonstrate experience and understanding of working within a volunteer environment.
A full driver's licence is required, and a pool vehicle will be supplied as required, for use by the successful applicant. Please note, some afterhours work is required of this role.
