This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024

Leeming Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Administration and Marketing Officer.

In this role you will provide support to develop, implement and manage the school’s marketing plan. You will assist with the development and production of a range of printed and online materials to support marketing activities and events for the school. You will maintain and update the school’s website, software applications and social media, ensuring published content is current, relevant and that associated links are active. Previous marketing and events management experience would be highly desirable.

The successful applicant will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, support staff, school community and external stakeholders.

At Leeming SHS we have been welcoming families for over 30 years. We are an Independent Public School committed to giving our students the best resources and environment possible to prepare them for a bright future. We see ourselves as partners with parents and students to provide a supporting and caring environment during the High School years. We seek to achieve Harmony and strive for Excellence. Our motto of Harmony and Excellence guides all members of our School Community to rise to their potential and care for each other.

Leeming SHS has a school community small enough to be able to care about each individual student but large enough to cater for a very broad range of academic and non-academic needs. Nestled between an abundance of bushland, we enjoy a peaceful environment in which to learn and grow.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. • Well-developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiative and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment to meet conflicting timeframes.
  • Ability to maintain multimedia platforms.

Applications will be assessed against these work related (selection criteria) of the position. The business needs of the school may also be considered. It is therefore recommended that you consider all information contained in the advertisement and any other related information before applying for the vacancy.
