You will be working for our business Home on the Road, located in Welshpool. We rent out comfortable, affordable campervans to people who want to experience life on the road for a while! We use reliable vans with high quality, yet simple, conversions accessible to those on a budget. Home on the Road operates in conjunction with Share Bus - who operate camping road trips for backpackers.
We are a small company, growing fast - so we are searching for someone to fill the new, varied role, of Marketing and Administration Support Officer. The role is casual with hours potentially varying from 15-28 hours per week depending on work available and your availability. There may be the possibility of permanency in future.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Create content to capture the attention and engagement of leads online (50%) by creating content such as photos, videos and images for the website, regular social media posts, stories and reels, email campaigns and other methods as identified.
Provide Administration Support to the Accounts Officer (35%) as needed by entering purchases and sales data, following up employees for receipts, matching receipts to data in the bank in MYOB, and other tasks as identified
Complete administrative work to get campervans ready for rental (7.5%), by scheduling and completing relevant tasks for importing vehicles, tracking and scheduling stages of conversions, and ensuring vehicles have insurance and roadside assistance.
Create and monitor promotional materials (5%) such as merchandise and print material.
Provide customer service (2.5%) by occasionally speaking with customers over the phone or in person if other staff are unavailable to do so.
About you
- Self-starting - you can pitch ideas and create work for yourself
- You are experienced in either design, photography and/or social media
- You have administration experience
- You are organised and precise in your work and design
- Great at learning new technologies and programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
We are happy to provide training in MYOB to the right person. Hours can be flexible to your needs. Students are encouraged to apply.
