The role
ALS Hydrographics based at Penrith is looking for an administrative person to join our unique team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a role, working autonomously with the Laboratory staff and Manager. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience leading or looking after an office. Bring your can-do attitude and join ALS Global today.
The day to day
- Maintain in-house procedures, form | day to day running of office
- Invoicing and Accounts
- Raising purchase orders, updating supplier agreements.
- Purchasing of services and materials for office supplies
- Organise maintenance personnel such as electrical, plumbing.
- Collating, maintaining, and entering fortnightly payroll.
- Set up monthly production jobs in accordance with procedures.
- Assist the Business Manager in the recruitment processes.
- Answering phones, emails, and office correspondence.
The Essentials
- Previous experience in an administrative capacity in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A customer service focused attitude.
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships.
- Strong computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Databases)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Helpful and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.
- Strong quality service attitude and approach.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
