Customer Service / Administration Assistant

A fulltime opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Telesales team at our foodservice branch located in Albury.  The hours of work will be 7:00am to 3:00pm.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Administration Manager this position is responsible for providing over the phone Customer Service and provide a high level of Customer Service to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks, reports and quality assurance tasks and audits.

Duties:

• Respond to customer queries via telephone, in person and by email in a professional and timely manner 
• Liaise with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy of supplier invoices, orders, resolve issues and provide information as requested
• Carry out Counter sales efficiently with a focus on excellent Customer Service
• Facilitate smooth processing of sales enquiries and customer orders and quotes 
• Provide general administrative tasks with an emphasis on accuracy as required
• Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food system

Skills and Experience:

• Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
• Superior Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
• Action customer queries appropriately and in a timely manner
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi task
• Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Excellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems

Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry would be an advantage.
