POSITION PURPOSE /

We seek a highly motivated, passionate and reliable individual to join our Construction & Major Projects Team in a part time (0.6 FTE) capacity.

As a Administration Assistant within the Design, Construction & Major Projects team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects. Your administrative support will contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile projects, making a real difference to South Australia's infrastructure.

Due to recent growth and demand for our services, this newly created role will play pivotal role in supporting the management of electrical aspects of Tier 1 projects. 

Work alongside multinational clients, representing our local family SA business. Your contributions will directly impact the future infrastructure of South Australia for years to come.

Key Responsibilities / 

  1. Administration & Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including registers, progress reports, schedules. Setting up and managing project files, ensuring compliance with all required internal policies and procedures, including HSEQ requirements. 
  2. End-User Documents: Preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals and commissioning documents.
  3. Data Entry and Reporting: Enter project data into relevant systems and generate reports as required. Supporting Project Managers and Field Supervisors with regular administrative tasks. 
  4. Communication Liaison: Act as a central point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses and information dissemination. 
  5. Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining quality control measures to ensure project compliance with standards and regulations. 
  6. Resource Allocation: Support in the allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to support project needs.
  7. Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items across the workforce. 

Qualifications and Experience / 

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in administration within the construction industry or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience with Project Management Tools is advantageous, but not essential.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
