Location: Tresillian Nepean/ Canterbury
Tresillian is seeking an Administration Assistant for the Tresillian Family Care Centre.
The Administration Assistant will be an integral member of the team, being responsible for providing “front of house” welcoming customer service to clients and staff who contact Tresillian for Day Services and Residential referrals and bookings; and the associated administration tasks, including Health Fund management.
Selection Criteria:
1) Previous experience and knowledge of reception and administrative procedures including simple switchboard operating skills.
2) High level communication and public relation skills.
3) Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and undertake complex tasks and to organize and manage multiple tasks.
4) Medium to high level competence in the use of computer programs Word and Excel including data entry.
5) Experience with CERNER (the patient administration system) or willing to learn.
6) Basic knowledge of Medical Records maintenance procedures including knowledge of disease index or willing to learn.
7) Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
8) Demonstrated well developed and effective written skills.
The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian, was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW). All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 Immunisation Medical Exemption Form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
