About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to provide essential support to a Grants Team within an Australian Government Department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our grants administration process, ensuring efficiency and compliance in all activities. The position is based in our ultra-modern office located in the Canberra Civic, with the flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor multiple email mailboxes, assisting with the correspondence and processing of grant applications.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to track and assist with the assessment of grant applications.
- File grant applications and correspondence diligently into SharePoint and CM9 systems.
- Support the establishment, coordination, and administration of meetings, reports, and procurement activities for the Selection Advisory Panel.
- Finalise required documentation for the Community Grants Hub, ensuring all information is accurate and complete towards the end of the establishment phase of grant opportunities.
- Other administrative duties as required to support the Grants Team.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and CM9 or similar document management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a government setting.
- Must hold a security clearance or have the ability to obtain a clearance.
