Our Opportunity
Reporting into our Group Facilities and Procurement Manager as an integral part of our wider team, our Administration & Mailroom Coordinator works closely with our entire business to coordinate the delivery of mail-room services and provide effective administrative support across our finance and facilities management functions.
As a true all-rounder with a positive and can-do nature, every day in this role will be different and varied. Your strong customer service approach and time management abilities will support your busy day as you will be the central contact point and managing all business mail and couriers/deliveries. With this, you will be the go-to person for all our internal teams and external stakeholders and will enjoy building strong relationships at all levels and being a team player.
You will be responsible for collecting and distributing packages and mail throughout the building to our various teams, so your day will be fast paced as you get around the office.
Additionally, this role includes administration support to our Finance team and wider Palmer Parade office covering a variety of tasks; ensuring stationary cupboard and consumables are stocked, raising requisitions for couriers, assist with banking and accounts as required.
This role requires you to work the hours of 8am to 4.30pm, 5 days Monday to Friday on site at our head office in Cremorne, to meet business and customer requirements.
Your day-to-day will include:

  • Administration of all incoming mail and packages for the business including collection and distribution
  • Arranging all local and international couriers
  • Responding to all internal and external mail-room enquiries via phone and email
  • Managing stock levels and ordering consumables and stationery for the office
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Finance team as required
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience within an administrative or customer service environment and role preferred
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • PC Skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
