Mackay Child Care Centre is a community, not for profit organisation and was the first to open in the CBD of Mackay. The centre caters for 42 children a day in a long day care setting, ranging from ages of 6 weeks to School age. We have an approved Kindergarten programme delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. We are a small, friendly team passionate in delivering quality early childhood education in the Mackay Community
Qualifications & experience
Experience in bookkeeping
- Experience using Reckon accounting.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet required deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in improving processes.
- Knowledge of Qikkids is an advantage
- Ability to interpret relevant ATO requirements
- Preparing financial reports
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient bookkeeping systems
- Maintaining files and records in respect of business operations
- Maintain accurate attendance records for the children
- Prepare and lodge all rebates
- Wages and data entry
