- $73,242 - $84,458 per annum (HEO 5)
- Plus 17% employer superannuation. Salary packaging options are available

- 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum

About the role
The Administration Officer reports to the Team Leader and will provide key support to the Head of School, School executive and staff in the School of Environmental and Rural Science. The Administration Officer provides high-level administrative support, specialist knowledge relevant to the position as well as undertaking stand-alone assignments and projects.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail with outstanding time management
- Previous experience working in an administrative role, proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively and while exercising judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and also to work independently.
- The ability to adapt to a changing environment.
About the Division
Integrated Services Division includes the areas of Estate & Built Environment, People & Culture, Legal Services Information Technology and Administration Services. The division is responsible for the physical deployment of support staff across UNE. This position will be focused in the School of Environmental and Rural Science. The School of Environmental and Rural Science (ERS) is an active and dynamic School of professional and academic staff that work in the disciplines of agronomy, environmental science, ecology, genetics, geology, Rural Science, soil science, and zoology. We are a leading provider of both on-campus and online or distance education in agriculture and environmental science, offering flexible learning options for students throughout the year.
