Salary: $66,338.79- $67,937.54 AUD (pro rata) per annum

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Safescript NSW Clinical Advice Line (SCAL) within the Alcohol and Drug Service. The incumbent will be expected to be able to;
- Coordinate SCAL rostering and staff payments
- Triangulation of consultant report and clinical call log summary to ensure timely, accurate and complete reflection of provided advice.
- To develop and maintain systems that provide timely data and information to support the SCAL staff in the provision of care
- Facilitate data reporting and coordination of capacity building initiatives.
- Work collaboratively to support the provision of the SCAL service in all aspects.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Administration Officer who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are able to provide administrative services and support for the daily and ongoing operational and strategic demands of SCAL.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Demonstrated high-level organizational skills and ability to show initiative to prioritize and manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
3. Demonstrated computer literacy with highly developed skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and a typing speed of minimum 60 WPM.
4. Demonstrated experience in working in a health care setting, including knowledge of patient administration systems and the ability to be compassionate and demonstrated sensitive approach if/when dealing with patients and carers.
5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and under broad supervision while undertaking a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume environment.
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (both face to face and over the phone) with awareness of cross-cultural issues and ability to interact and engage appropriately including with those from marginalized backgrounds.
7. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to diagnose, prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
8. Demonstrated ability to adhere to and maintain confidentiality at all times
