Your part in our UnitingCare Community team
We’re seeking an Administration Officer to join our team. As a key support role to the delivery of our services, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run efficiently.
As an Administrative Officer you will:
- rovide a range of general administrative activities which require initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity and which directly support the outcomes of the organisation.
- Use Microsoft Office and/or other business software, assist with preparing reports and other documentation, and maintain databases and other recording information systems.
- Record keeping including the collation, preparation, distribution and filling of documents.
- Undertake the processing of a range of general financial functions including petty cash, payment of accounts.
- Provide administrative support relating to the planning, preparation and delivery of meetings and special events.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming workspace and undertake other duties as and when directed within the scope and capabilities of the incumbent, including back up of reception areas.
What makes a difference for us?
- Certificate IV in Business Administration, Event Management or other relevant qualification; or minimum 2 years providing Administrative support and assistance to management
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge of administrative support practices and procedures and to work within the statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to UnitingCare.
- Ability to be flexible and proactive in contributing to the effective functioning of a team.
- A current Driver’s license is essential.
- A current Blue Card or willingness to make an application for one
- Must also be willing to undergo a personal history checks under the provision of the Child Protection Act 1999 in relation to Licensing of Care Services
