But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a self-motivated Operations Administration Assistant to support the company’s operations, based at our Wingfield depot.

You will be experienced, reliable and able to provide efficient day-to-day administration support to the team.  Working in a dynamic environment, you will have the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, and have excellent problem solving and time management skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • High volume data entry
  • General administration and office support
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met in managing customer requests
  • Answering inbound calls and manning two-way radio
  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner
  • Establish and manage relationships with drivers, team members, customers, and local authorities
  • Checking driver records (run sheets / fatigue / waste tracking), analysing reports 
  • Reporting & Investigate queries
  • Capability to understand and document systems, processes, and procedures
  • Processing of documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Working to timelines to ensure work is completed

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in Administration is essential
  • Mechanical aptitude or exposure advantageous
  • You will have logistics experience ideally
  • A commitment to providing customer service of the highest standard
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal & written
  • Multi-task and demonstrate an enthusiasm and determination to perform duties in a fast paced and varied role
  • Ability to logically analyse workflows & processes
  • Self-motivated, team player who is reliable with a strong work ethic
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Work well within a team environment with the ability to work autonomously
  • Maintaining a positive work ethic and maintain confidentiality
