Hi, we’re Eva! And we’re here to fill your home with thoughtful furniture and homewares. As a multi-award-winning B-Corp, we take our time to design and develop our one-of-a-kind products from scratch, to ensure they are accessible, reliable and thoughtful. We call this being “Thoughtful everyday” and we’d love for you to join us.What's the gist?A tightly held full-time position has recently opened up and we'd love to find the perfect person to continue elevating our creative at Eva.As the Senior Digital Designer, you’ll work within our tight-knit marketing team to amplify thumb stopping digital content and design across all our social platforms. You’ll be designing and developing new website content, supporting the team and touching all parts of the business with your design skills. You’ll also support our product team for all print and packaging designs. Working under the guidance of our Senior Content Manager, you'll also participate in the creative direction of shoots and campaigns.The ideal person will need to be comfortable taking a simple brief and executing it, at home in a change-is-the-only-constant style start up & be comfortable in collaborative team environment. If this sounds like you, we'd love to chat.RequirementsWhat the role looks like:Brand Visual Strategy

• Oversee the maintenance of Eva’s visual identity across various platforms, ensuring the highest standards of design quality and attention to detail while maintaining a strong focus on a cohesive brand aesthetic.
• Participate in the creative direction of photoshoots and creative campaigns as guided by Senior Content Manager
• Support brand and marketing initiatives to ensure a consistent and successful Eva brand experience for customers.
• Establish and promote graphic design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Digital Design

• Push the Eva brand forward with compelling and innovative creative ideas
• Lead the design of creative digital assets across marketing campaigns and various channels (email, search, social, organic, website etc) in line with marketing, product and business goals.
• Mark up and manage retouching and image/video delivery, working closely with the Senior Content Manager to define production and output
• Mentor and provide creative feedback to junior designers where required.
• Assist in UX design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience.
• Identify new opportunities to create content by keeping up with emerging trends and best practices in social media and digital design
• Create and manage global asset libraries for systematic and scalable design

What you look like:

• Superb design skills and mastery of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably for 4+ years.
• An eye for creating visually appealing content across social media, display, website design, and various other fun channels.
• An understanding of the challenges and opportunities in digital marketing, and the ability to leverage them to achieve great results.
• A passion for making a positive impact in the world and thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
• The ability to work effectively in a small, agile team, always learning, and transforming bold ideas into actionable strategies.
• Excellent project management skills to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with design for print

• Proficiency in video editing
• Strong skills in animation and motion
• Excellent photography skills
• Previous experience in e-commerce
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience in social media marketing
• A Labradoodle
