We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team. Our team consist of trusted specialists, professionals and support staff who assist our customers through the provision of effective, efficient services.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic customer focused professional to provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to our Executive Manager. This role will work closely with other Administration Assistants and support staff across the organisation.
- Assist the Executive Manager and team in administrative functions.
- Typing of correspondence, reports and memos to all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
- Follow up matters arising from Council meetings and internal document and request management systems.
- Prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings
- Assist in dealing with public enquiries.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job related experience in a similar position.
- Extensive organisational, scheduling and word processing experience.
- Experience in minute taking and meeting procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise across all levels of the organisation.
- Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills and excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and relevant corporate software.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
