The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

About the Role?
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritizes connection and teamwork. The primary position objectives are to provide culturally appropriate OT services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team. This includes managing a diverse caseload delivering services to adult and/or paediatric clients.

Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Adult caseload involving home visits and internal funding structures
- Clinic-based with opportunities for home visits
- Offers short-term and long-term support for clients
- Collaborative environment with various disciplines
- Support from allied health assistants
About You?
- Current Yellow Card – Disability Worker Screening Clearance (Prior to Commencement)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (Qld)
- AHPRA Registration
- Bachelor’s in occupational therapy
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (Willingness to obtain)
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities.

- Up to $300 per fortnight for travel allowance (Full time equivalent)
