Medical Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Radiology Department are looking for Medical Radiation Practitioner – Advanced PACS to join their team. The purpose of this role is to provide a specialist service to clients within Metro South Hospital and Health Service, including providing technical support to facilitate a client focused healthcare service. The position requires well developed clinical and computer knowledge, skills, problem solving abilities and experience in the medical imaging business processes at a Health Service level.

About the Role

• Enhanced Service Support: Prioritise and streamline incident management for PACS RIS, focusing on rapid response and effective resolution, both on-site and remote across the state. Escalate complex issues to specialised teams proactively.
• Reporting Structure: Reinforce your accountability and direct communication with the PACS RIS Service Manager, ensuring alignment with HHS & ehealth strategic objectives and departmental operational efficiency.
• Collaborative Development: Actively contribute to the formulation and refinement of digital imaging standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the PACS RIS team, fostering innovation and best practices.
