Working as part of a team, our arborists undertake general tree maintenance across our Council area performing block tree pruning to our streetscapes, reserves and other green areas.
As a member of the Council’s Field Services Portfolio, our employees are expected to demonstrate the objectives of safety leadership, operational excellence, customer experience and people experience.
About you
We do have the following minimum requirements for our arborists, but don’t swipe left if you don’t meet them all – please consider applying as we take into account relevant experience and will provide training and development.
- Certificate 3 in Arboriculture or Horticulture, or demonstrated equivalent experience
- MR truck licence and white card accredited
- Desirable: High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (11 metres) and experience of working safely at heights

This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is classified at ME5, with an annual base salary of $70,008 + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
