- Permanent full time opportunity to provide thorough independent clinical practice, specialist level knowledge, skill and experience in the assessment and management of people with complex foot disease primarily in hospital outpatient settings
- Support clinical practice and operational supervision of the HP3, HP4 and HP5 clinicians and podiatry assistants across Podiatry Service
- Develop research opportunities and evidence-based practice for the strategic direction of the Podiatry Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Utilise advanced clinical skills, knowledge and independent professional judgement to manage a varied and complex caseload in foot disease & high risk foot services of Metro North Health, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Develop effective professional relationships with patients and other healthcare providers in the multi-disciplinary team to influence clinical outcomes, through advanced communication skills
- Provide timely expert clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers, members of the multi-disciplinary team and other stakeholders
- Demonstrate commitment to delivering safe and leading-edge services with the ability to identify new opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer expectations and improve the patient journey
