AddressPodalgia Podiatry Pty Ltd, is seeking a podiatrist part time to cover the role of community Aged Care on the Gold Coast. The role includes the provision of podiatry services in the community, many of whom have a need for care and assistance in their home and improving their quality of life. Optional, also available working at a Medical Centre twice per month.
The role includes:
Assess, diagnose and treat abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb working for a diverse range of patients.
Qualifications:
1. Currency of registration with AHPRA
2. Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment
3. Professional Indemnity Insurance
4. First Aid and CPR
Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients, including diagnosis, treating any foot related conditions.
Provide treatment for various foot conditions, including corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, diabetic foot care.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Diabetes assessment.
Orthoses prescription and footwear recommendations.
Provide reports upon assessment on currents needs and recommendations.

Patient record management:
Provide accurate and timely transfer of information to other health care providers where necessary.
Provide advice and make referrals as appropriate.

Maintain patient information and records as per practice requirements.
Transfer/obtain medical records as required.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
