Adventure (Tour) Guide

Adventure Tasmania, an innovative startup, is seeking an enthusiastic Adventure Guide to join our journey!

We're not your typical tour company; we take adventure to the next level with our e-bike tours through the lesser-known landscapes of Tasmania and to the smaller businesses of our island. Our goal? To create unforgettable experiences that leave our guests buzzing with good memories.

As an Adventure Guide, you are the pulse of our operations. You'll ignite the spirit of adventure in our guests, lead tours, and guarantee their enjoyment from start to finish. This role calls for your exceptional communication skills, your depth of knowledge about the tourism industry, and most importantly, your ability to weave tales that make Tasmania's rich history and stunning natural beauty come alive!

Here's the exciting part: this role isn't a rigid 9-to-5 grind. It's a start up, which means that we are learning, just as you are. You will be working with us to create your role, develop the business and create the most valuable experiences for guests, opening up a world of flexibility. Plus, the potential for growth is significant, giving you the reins to mould the future of our Adventures and business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct and manage e-bike tours

2. Engage with the tourism industry and continue learning about it

3. Provide high-quality, highly engaging tour experiences

Requirements:

• Valid, full, driver’s licence 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Current First Aid Certification
• A great personality and professional presentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Can ride a bike well
• High level of physical fitness

Desirable:

• Personal Training Certification

Remuneration will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
