About the role:
We are seeking an experienced sustainability professional to join the GISA Business Sustainability Program team. Core to the role is supporting and promoting the transition of South Australia to a net zero climate impact and circular economy through industry and business engagement.
As the Senior Adviser Business Sustainability, you will work with businesses and organisations to understand, develop and implement cost saving and environmental improvements related to resource efficiency, waste management, net zero emissions and circular economy.
You will also be responsible for the coordination and evaluation of consultancy engagements, the development and administration of contracts and grants, and researching and responding to a range of sustainability-related enquiries from the business community.
Forming relationships with business and industry bodies, other government agencies and jurisdictions, and private sector businesses and non-government organisations will be a key priority in this role.
This position is offered as a two year contract.
