About the role:

The newly refurbished centre, Swan Active Midland, is set to open its doors soon and we are actively seeking passionate and skilled casual Aerobics Instructors to join our team. We are looking for vibrant and positive people to instruct classes such as yoga, pilates, HIIT, Konga, Les Mills, Zumba and dance, seniors classes and tai chi.

Reporting to the Group Fitness Team Leader you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and lead exhilarating workouts that will leave our members feeling energised and inspired. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Foster effective and genuine relationships with customers by helping people to connect with one another.
  • Keep connected and educated with industry trends and training requirements.
  • Create a welcoming class environment that meets all fitness levels and abilities.
  • Lead energising, fun, safe and educational group classes to enhance community wellbeing and fitness levels.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or equivalent Fitness Instruction Accreditation
  • Current Senior First Aid certificate would be considered advantageous
  • Experience in leading group fitness classes will be highly regarded

The hourly rate for this position will be $47.25, plus 25% casual loading.
