The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced and professional After Sales and Major Projects Managerto join our team in Gunnedah.
Managing the Project Managers and Client Relationships in the Gunnedah Region.
The successful applicant will be results driven with a strong focus on machine health whilst working closely with our Projects Manager to achieve branch and customer business plan objectives including but not limited to the successful execution of Gunnedah Machine Rebuilds, Major Shuts and Projects.
You will also be expected to actively promote Hitachi parts, labour and services for business growth.
Reporting to the Branch Coordinator, your other responsibilities will be:
- Demonstrating a safety-first culture based on personal independent responsibility for each other working towards interdependence.
- Develop & implement strategic plans to improve performance, equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs.
- Ensure all Work in Progress is tracked, managed and closed in a timely manner for areas of responsibility.
- Coordinate, plan and successfully execute new machine assembly, shut down and project work.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in a Management, Business Development, or a technical role with mobile Equipment in the mining industry or with a related OEM.
- Engineering Qualifications in a related discipline, management or Business-related qualifications would be preferred but not essential
- Ability to analyse technical data and reports.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Business Development experience ideally at a Management Level
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Time Management, Negotiating and Influencing Skills.
