The role
With ongoing work continuing on the Snowy 2.0 Project, we are currently recruiting suitable candidates for our Major Projects Division.
The position is drive in/drive out (DIDO) and LAFHA for which the project provides food and accommodation on site Working a roster of 2 on 1 off, we will provide LAFHA allowance and travel allowance.
We are seeking experienced drillers to join our team with extensive experience in:
- Temporary/Permanent Ground Anchors
- Rock Bolts
Types of rigs include, Hutte, Sandvik, JunJin, Ripamonti, Ingersoll Rand and Excavator Mounted Drill Masts.
Experience with:
- Rotary, Top Hammer and DTH drilling systems;
- Masts both hydraulic and Pneumatic mounted on a variety of equipment;
- EWP operation for remote control drilling;
- Ground anchor drilling and installation methods.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate some of the following:
- Minimum of 2 years Drilling experience
- Ability to safely operate drilling rigs
- EWP Operator (high risk work licence)
- Working at Heights national accreditation
- Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
- Full Driving licence
- Team Player
- Demonstrate a strong safety culture and awareness
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
