Boori started in Sydney in 1993, and initially sold just baby furniture through wholesale channels in Australia. Since then, it has grown in scope and product range, with Boori furniture being sold across Asia and Europe, and with a more diverse product category range, including not just baby cots, but also kids and grown-up beds, storage furniture, desks, chairs, timber play products, along with dining room and living room furniture.
The Boori Australia head office is at Eastern Creek (NSW 2766).
Hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (or optional 8:30am to 4:30pm)
About the role:
This role requires someone with good problem solving abilities, and effective communication to assist in resolving After Sales service and warranty issues, as well as providing assistance in other office tasks, including answering queries, and processing orders from Boori wholesale and direct sales channels.
Responsibilities include
- Processing warranty claims and other After Sales service issues through providing solutions, including preparation of hardware and spare parts, sometimes with the assistance of warehouse staff, as well as organising service technician repair visits.
- Processing spare part and manual hardware orders, including order entry and dispatch.
- Processing sales from online and wholesale channels, including booking in delivery and picking.
- Communicating with retailers and consumers in a professional manner to resolve After Sales service issues, address sales queries, and answer general queries.
- Receiving and recording customer service & warranty claims, including contributing to monthly reports to record and summarise service issues.
- Processing returns and notifying relevant staff of any required credits/refunds.
- Assisting with other office admin tasks.
What we're looking for:
- A team player with a positive can-do attitude, who is willing to be hands on.
- Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ideally someone with customer service experience, particularly in the baby or furniture industry.
- Someone level headed with good problem solving abilities, resourcefulness, and a high level of accuracy and speed in processing service issues and orders.
