Newly created opportunity due to growth to join leading Australian owned International Freight Forwarder located Kogarah supporting the Sales Manager in telemarketing role.
Ideally you have previous local experience working in International Freight Forwarding within operations/customer service capacity and looking for next step to move to sales in future. This is great entry role into sales to further develop your skills.
The purpose of the role is to provide tele/administrative services and assistance to the sales department in gaining and retaining customers.
- The role includes telemarketing, tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes, providing customer support as well as supporting and monitoring sales team and relevant sales data.
- You will offer sound administrative support working closely with agents and National Sales Manager on day to day activities .
- A large part of your role will be phone calls to prospective clients, follow up email correspondence both internal, overseas, with both clients and partners.
- You will provide reports to management
You will manage relevant promotional material for both internal and external parties consumption.
