Blue Gum Community School is a unique small school in Inner North Canberra, starting with Playgroups through to Year 10. Blue Gum educators are passionate about seeing all students as competent, capable, creative, responsible, resourceful and resilient. They create irresistible learning environments, indoors and outdoors.
The school operates its own small home-like OOSH program for approx 22 students, and is seeking an experienced Director. The program operates 3-6pm during school terms & full-time (8:30am-6pm) during SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. it closes down for 3 weeks @ Christmas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding educator who is a passionate advocate for students' right/need to enjoy diverse enticing recreational encounters outside school hours. The salary range reflects our respect for the importance of this position.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Must have expertise in devising creative, adventurous, hands-on experiences that tap into the world of 5-12 year olds. Together with a good understanding of the My Time, Our Place framework, and adept at meeting regulatory requirements.
(Additional work is available in Blue Gum's school and preschool classes, on a casual or permanent basis. Likewise in Blue Gum's Playgroups for families with 0-2 year olds.)
