To apply, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- A minimum of 9 months recent experience working in Aged Care or community services in a similar role
- A current recognised qualification in the role you are applying for. Must meet appropriate AQF level.
- Current manual handling acquired in the last 6 months.
- A current national police clearance certificate acquired in the last 6 months.
- Current First Aid
- A current Australian drivers’ license and reliable vehicle are mandatory.
- Excellent rounded communication skills
- Knowledge and awareness of safety and health in the workplace principles especially of infection prevention and control
- Dept. of Health Infection Control for Covid 19 certificate a must
- Current influenza and covid 19 vaccination a must
- Sound leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of the Aged Care quality and safety commission advantageous.
- Knowledge about continuous improvement and risk management advantageous
- Flexible and accountable attitude
