What You Will Be Doing
The Aged Persons Community Mental Health Team (APCMHT) is a specialist multi-disciplinary and integrated service that provides a broad range of interventions, care coordination and support for persons 65 years and older experiencing severe and persistent Mental Health disorders and their carers.
The Aged Community Mental Health Clinician will plan, evaluate and review care, undertaking face to face assessments and contributing to recovery care plans. The role requires frequent liaison with external services and the internal multi-disciplinary team.
The position is open to Registered Nurses and Allied Health with Mental Health experience. It is a Permanent Full Time position working Monday -Friday 8.30-5pm
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration RPN ONLY: Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health program
Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment and crisis intervention, and recovery frameworks
Experience working in an acute inpatient or Community Mental Health setting
Current Victorian Driver’s License

Agreement 2020-2024 or MEDICAL SCIENTISTS, PHARMACISTS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 – 2025 salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
