Join our Shopify specialist team here in Perth to specify, implement strategies and features on stores for the widest range of brands, products and sectors. You’ll help our clients understand the best ecommerce solutions and processes, develop strategies and brief in projects to our team.
The right person is Perth-based and ready to start, knows Shopify well, is positive, proactive, well organised and excited by ecommerce.

With your Shopify skills, you will work closely with our people and clients to find opportunities, develop growth strategies and implement features and solutions for project and retainer clients.

The Cut was founded in 2009, and is an ecommerce specialist agency, Shopify Expert Partner and WA’s only Shopify Plus Partner agency.
We specialise in the design and development of ecommerce websites using Shopify for companies in a wide range of sectors including Fashion, Health & Beauty, Home & Vehicle and Food & Drinks.

The Right Person.You have at least 2 years strong Shopify experience - This role is perfect for in-house Ecommerce Managers who want to diversify and work with a range of brands and businesses.
You are motivated, positive, well organised and independent. You’ll be working closely with our clients, new business prospects and our team to find the best ecommerce solutions.
You know your way around the Shopify Admin and CMS, understand how Shopify themes work, and the configuration of Shopify accounts from features and apps, to payment gateways and shipping, and from product content to performance metrics.
You need to be confident and ready to collaborate with our clients and our ecommerce specialists.
As our Ecommerce Manager you will- Be the first person to help our clients with challenges & requests
- Contribute to client strategies & solution planning
- Maintain client communications & relationships
- Help clients learn & solve Shopify challenges
- Deliver written & verbal team briefings
- Work closely with our team to develop the best solutions
- Demonstrate excellent communication & organisational skills
Must have
- 2+ years strong Shopify experience
- Highly confident with all aspects of the Shopify Admin / CMS
- An ecommerce focus to your skills & career
- Excellent understanding of the ‘moving parts’ of ecommerce
- The ability to access & understand ecommerce performance metrics
- Excellent client & team communication skills
Nice to have
- Understand ecommerce retention strategies e.g. Email Automations, Reviews, Loyalty etc.
- Understand the Customer Experience & ‘path to sale’
- Experience in other platforms e.g. WooCommerce, BigCommerce etc.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing generally
