Agency Sales Consultant

Your New Role

Working in our Agency Sales call centre in our Sydney office, your main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our Travel Agents in order to secure the booking, achieve sales targets, and encourage repeat business.

What will you be doing?

• Sell and promote Gfob products through superior customer service, destination and product knowledge and sales skills.
• Identify customer needs and match those needs with Gfob products.
• Meet assigned KPIs and sales targets with the aim to exceed these.
• Handle all queries (telephone and email) from travel agents.
• Build relationships with travel agents to encourage repeat business.
• Work allocated shifts, which may include evening shifts and the occasional Saturday and Sunday shift.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a customer service or call-centre environment, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong communication skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Customer service focused with a passion for travel and excellent destination knowledge.
• Excellent team player with strong time management skills, and a proactive, initiative-taking work attitude.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required.
• Full working rights within Australia.
