one of our clients are currently undergoing one of their largest modernisation programs to date. This program spans many levels of infrastructure and capability to support the Australian public in their area of expertise. In doing so they need capable staff to continually promote new methodologies and ensure team and culture is being positively impacted.
About the Role
As the Agile coach, you will mentor staff modernise its agile ways of working. The program is implementing the Scaled Agile and Scrum frameworks. You will collaborate with delivery teams to modernise their systems and processes and implement agile best practices. The coach will work strongly with delivery teams and departmental leadership to cultivate an agile mindset and help drive cultural change.
You will help conduct agile workshops, training sessions and work with teams and individuals across a number of stakeholder groups including technical and non-technical stakeholders. There is a large focus on fostering a positive environment within the Program overall and the ability to maintain open and honest communication and collaboration.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to be found suitable.
Key Skills and Experiences.
- Strong demonstrated experience implementing and applying Agile methodologies, preferably within a government environment.
- Strong demonstrated experience delivering within Digital modernisation and transformation projects and programs.
- Proven leadership and coaching experience in Agile delivery with the ability to communicate effectively and all levels of Government.
- Strong demonstrated experience assisting organisations to transition from traditional project and program management methodologies to Agile ways of working.
- Recent experience in implementing with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) version 5 or 6.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Agile methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework and SCRUM within a government context.
- Experience establishing and maturing Agile Community of practices.
