- Help the organisation deliver the desired outcomes and fit-for-purpose products with prioritisation, strategic alignment, goal setting, transparency, predictability, consistency, high performance, collaboration, quality, and sustainable pace.
- Drive cultural change by embedding and reinforcing lean-agile values, behaviours, and mindsets.
- Lead and coach Squads and ARTs in their conscious and sustainable adoption and improvement of scaled agile ways of working, lean-agile practices, principles, tools, metrics, and maturity.
- Support growth of Squad Members, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, ART leaders, Portfolio leaders, and more broadly all members and leaders of the scaled agile organisation by developing and executing tailored individual and team coaching/mentoring plans and defining measurable goals, underpinned by qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Support the implementation of new capabilities and advocate the concept of a learning organisation by participating in, and actively contributing to the Agile CoE and the LACE. Build individual and team capability through promoting knowledge sharing, developing and delivering trainings, and leading and facilitating workshops on lean and scaled agile topics, contributing to our Playbook, Agile Delivery Guidelines, knowledge base and training materials.
- Strong experience in implementing lean-agile ways of working at scale. Thorough understanding of lean and agile principles, practices, metrics, and tools.
- Ability to partner with, effectively communicate with, consult, influence, align, brief, coach, and guide senior leaders.
- Competent and able to choose and effectively operate in a broad range of stances – such as coaching, training, mentoring, observing, advising, facilitation, feedback, and role modelling.
- Deeply knowledgeable in agile frameworks, models, methodologies, structures, processes, concepts, techniques, tools such as, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, ‘Spotify’ model, Lean, Flow Optimisation, OKR, QBR, DevOps, WSJF, Value Stream Mapping, Squad and Release Train design and formation, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Funding Model, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- 5 years relevant experience (at least 2-3 years Agile Coach / Scrum Master at Squad level and additional 2-3 years at Value Stream / ART / Tribe level)
- Additional Agile Coach experience at Enterprise / Portfolio level in large, complex organisations (desirable)
- At least 1 year senior leadership coaching experience during a scaled agile transformation (desirable)
