Your new company 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Officer to join a State Government department in Perth CBD. This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

Your new role 

• • Facilitate the delivery of specified programs and/or projects
  • Provides advice and consultation that inform policy advice
  • Coordinate and implement agreed grant management methodologies, principles and templates
  • Facilitate continuous knowledge improvement of contract, program and/or project management concepts and standards
  • Proactively builds and maintains working relationships with external and internal stakeholders  

What you'll need to succeed 

• Substantial experience as a Project Officer is essential
• Previous experience in agreements and contract management 
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Planner)
• A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
