The Opportunity -
In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
BDA is looking for a Logistics Modeller who will join the AH-64 Apache team. In this role you will Manage the Apache Logistics Model including but not limited to the collection of logistics data and the continual maturation of the Apache logistics simulation.
This role is based at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, Brisbane.
As a Logistics Modeller within BDA, you will
- Be an integral part of the Apache capability.
- Manage the Apache Logistics Model including but not limited to the collection of logistics data and the continual maturation of the Apache logistics simulation.
- Use collected logistics data to populate demand forecasting, strategic optimisation and sparing data sets to aid in the pro-active management of the Apache capability.
- Analyse, update and assist in optimisation of model results.
- Support Logistics Supportability Analysis team with life cycle cost and trade studies modelling.
- Assist in the use of tools and models to improve processes, estimate resource needs and determine capability health.
- Support assessment of supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time.
- Support the management and update of logistical risks for the capability.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3 years+ technical experience in Integrated Logistics Support modelling and data analytics.
- Prior experience with aerospace/defence platforms logistics support.
- Proficient in the use of all Systecon tools (OPUS Suite).
- Demonstrated experience in provision of expert advice to stakeholders.
