In this pivotal role, you'll demonstrate your technical skills and telecommunications expertise to manage and optimise our Voice Platform, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.The day to day
- Manage and supervise the health and performance of the Voice Platform, identifying and resolving any technical issues, whilst analysing platform performance metrics and seeking opportunities for optimisation and scalability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless user experience for voice services, and to implement controls and security protocols.
- Manage and implement sophisticated routing requests from the business.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement platform improvements ensuring minimal latency, jitter, and packet loss.
- Generate regular performance reports on voice network performance metrics, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate new technologies, and ensure alignment to service level agreements.
- Work with technology from external parties and vendors such our Goggle CCAI, Afiniti, IP Payments system, Bambora, NICE, Goliath, Google Text to Speech, Cyara, SMS and multiple API interfaces.
- Substantial hands on experience in a technical role related to voice technology, telecommunications infrastructure, or network operations.
- Solid understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and telecommunications architecture, underpinned through experience working with Voice Platforms and telephony equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, plus collaborative ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in voice technology.
- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote - with flexible hours to suit!
