Good Maintenance is a privately owned home maintenance business operating across Brisbane and Melbourne. We are a growing company looking for driven and experienced AC Technician's to join our tight knit team!
Our Victorian office and warehouse are located in the heart of Richmond, just off Bridge Road.
We’re currently looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic (AC Technician) who can build our Air Conditioning business within the Melbourne market. We offer RDO’s, flexible working arrangements, purchased leave, and rewards for exceptional performance.
The Role:
The AC Technician will be responsible for establishing an industry leading heating and cooling maintenance and install team in Melbourne, focusing on compliance, quality, teamwork, and culture.
Initially, this will be very much a dual role when you begin; spending a percentage of your time in the field completing maintenance works and establishing field operations and a percentage in the office. Office work will include quoting jobs, arranging materials and liaising with partners.
In your role you will be supported by:
- Operations Manager - VIC
- Technical Supervisor
- Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator/s
- Finance Operations BP
- National Manager
To build and lead the Melbourne AC team you must be fully licensed and be willing to supervise and sign off works for the registered plumbers in your team. You will be driven, creative, and come with at least 2 years technical experience post qualification. You will require fantastic communication, organisation, and time management skills to be successful in this role.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager – VIC you will be ultimately accountable for:
- Field operations
- Invoicing & estimating
- Cost and waste management
- Compliance
- Safety
Experience in residential property maintenance is essential.

- Current Driver’s License
- Trade Certificate III
- Licensed with the VBA
- Construction Industry Card
- Refrigerant Handling License
- Own hand tools
- An appropriate level of physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy items.
- Diagnostic (fault-finding) skills
- Computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and hard-working mentality
- Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely with clients, colleagues and suppliers – both written and verbal.
- An ability to turn technical jargon into something our customers can understand.
- High attention to detail and knack for problem solving.
- NDIS check (or willingness to obtain)
