About the role:
We currently have two (2) vacancies across our Bayswater and Airport West sites. As a Maintenance and Repair Operator, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in the use tools, fixtures and equipment associated with the performance of work duties
- Assist engineering in the development of design changes and deviations
- Assist in the management and timely replenishment of consumables used during MRO activitiesProficient in the use tools, fixtures and equipment associated with the performance of work duties
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
- Technical experience in aerospace production and/or maintenance environment
- Understanding of aerospace component production and maintenance procedures and regulations
- Strong understanding of component and system operating principles, and, maintenance processes
- Strong understanding in the use of tooling, fixtures, metrology and test equipment required for component MRO
- Professional, friendly, energetic, positive and customer focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) highly advantageous
