The Role
Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking Capital Project Electrical Coordinator to join our team at Alcoa Kwinana for a 4 month contract.
Successful applicants will have previous refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess the following;
- Qualified Electrician with 5+ years post trade qualification.
- Western Australian ‘A’ Grade Electrical License.
- Cert IV in Engineering (Instrumentation).
- Cert IV Hazardous Areas – Electrical.
- Section 44 training / certificate (highly desirable).
- Current nationally accredited Working at Heights ticket (2 years).
- Current nationally accredited Confined Space ticket (2 years).
- Significant background & experience in Capital Project Electrical Coordination.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders and build relationships within the teams for the improvement of planning and scheduling.
- Capture and report progress against deliverable schedules.
- Strong background in project planning, scheduling and supervision.
- Experience with plant turnaround activities, including planning, resource requirements, and cost management.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.

- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is delivered to the client.
