Our opportunity
BaiMed now have a rare opportunity for an Allied Health Administrator to join our team. This permanent part-time position will commence on 24 hours per week and will work on Monday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. There will be opportunity to pick up additional hours to cover staff periods of leave and during busy times as required.
This is an ideal opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable employer in a busy and rewarding industry. Our administration team play an integral part in the efficient running of our practices and this role would be well suited to someone who loves interacting with people, as we pride ourselves on our culture and positive team environment.
Your key responsibilities in this role include:
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic, including scheduling, payments, calls, cleaning and invoicing
- Monitoring emails, photocopying, faxing and scanning
- Assist with checking stock levels, sourcing and ordering for the clinic
- Provide a high level of accurate administrative support to the clinic team
- Other general administrative duties as requested
- Friendly check-in with staff each day
About you
As well as being a warm team player who thrives in providing excellent customer service, our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative/reception position
- Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner
- Eager to learn and develop their skills within the Allied Health industry
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously where required
- Available to work the days and hours listed above and flexibility to cover additional days as required would be an advantage
