Speech Pathologist position

As the next enthusiastic Speech Pathologist at NeuroRehab, you will work closely with people with acquired neurological conditions (Stroke, TBI, & progressive conditions) and developmental disabilities (cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder). Our Speech Pathology team work alongside other clinicians within our multi-disciplinary team to provide a holistic therapy service.
The role is challenging as no two days are the same (clinic and community-based services), yet, rewarding, and ideal for those looking to make an impact on people and their journey to independence. Our Speech Pathology department has a large focus on quality improvement, professional development, and innovation to ensure people receive a safe and high-quality service. Our Speech team in Albury currently run dysphagia clinics, has access to an in-house AAC consultancy service and provides clinic-based and community-based communication assessment and therapy.
Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants along with some TAC/LTC and My Aged Care-funded clients. You will help empower clients to live a life full of choice, inclusion and new possibilities! We are a Child Safe organisation and adhere to Victorian/New South Wales Child Safe regulations. Your caseload will be tailored to your interests or experiences (neurological or disability or mixed).

We’re looking for –
We are looking an enthusiastic and energetic clinician (new grad/early careers/experienced) who has full-time availability, however, part-time applications looking for school-friendly or flexible hours are also encouraged to apply. Your working hours are negotiated directly with clients, allowing excellent flexibility to work from home as needed, providing a great work/life balance. The role will be based at our Albury clinic, and we have access to rooms in Wangaratta that can be used.

- Base salary of $78k (39.47/hr) - $95k (48.08/hr) depending on experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centred approaches and best practices within the NDIS.
- Driver's license.
- Internet access to work-from-home.
- Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
- 3 doses of Covid-19 vaccination.
- Influenza vaccination.
Desirable
- Experience working with compensable and NDIS clients is highly desired but not essential!
