What you'll be doing
The Allied Health Assistant role is part of Allied Health multidisciplinary teams across Central Coast Local Health District- including inpatient and community settings, and is required to deliver assistance and support to all allied health disciplines.
This may include (but not limited to) ward based duties, centre based group programs, home based programs and various non-clinical tasks as delegated.
The clinical caseload may include acute or post-acute stroke, chronic respiratory, cardiac disease, diabetes, progressive neurological disease, frail aged and their carers.
The Allied Health Assistant provides direct clinical intervention, under the direct supervision and guidance from Allied Health professionals, along with assisting group programs, administrative duties and resource development.
These roles will be a 7 day roster- including weekdays, weekends and public holidays (as required)
