Encara's Allied Health team is rapidly expanding. We currently have multiple roles available across the Sunshine Coast & South East Queensland for Foot Care Nurses & Allied Health Assistants Cert IV with a special interest in Podiatry. The Podiatry Allied Health Assistant/Foot Care role is based in the residential aged care setting, attending to general foot and nail care as referred by a Podiatrist or Registered Nurse. The role is aimed at supporting Encara’s podiatry team to deliver consistent podiatry care for residents.

- Basic foot and nail care for residents;
- Treating common foot disorders and applying dressings;
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team at the facility, such as Registered Nurses and Care Managers, along with Encara’s Clinical Podiatry team; and
- Documentation of clinical notes following each treatment.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry specialty preferred);
