Receptionist/Allied Health Assistant

Absolute Health is a busy and long-established Chiropractic and Physiotherapy company with clinics in Mooloolaba and Nambour. We run busy clinics and we have 3 Chiropractors and 4 Physiotherapists working from two locations. We use Pracsuite for our practice management software. Any experience withy this, or similar software, would be an advantage.
We are advertising for two receptionist / assistant roles. The number of hours for each role will be flexible for the right candidate.
You will be paid in accordance to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who wants a role they can become passionate about (not just a job). If you are a quick learner, have great phone and computer skills, love being around people, whilst thriving in an extremely busy and fast paced environment, this position is for you.
The role is multi-faceted, including administrative duties such as email management, phone calls, taking payments and making appointments. Position training will be thorough, however experience in a similar role would be an advantage. The ability to multitask in a busy role is an absolute requirement. The position will suit a person who loves to be busy all day and to be challenged in their role.
The role is fast paced with a strong focus on customer service. A background in Allied Health would be an advantage to be considered for the position, but not essential.
We are looking for an energetic & outgoing individual who thrives under pressure and is extremely self motivated and enjoys supporting the practitioners in delivering a superior experience for our patients.
To be successful, you must have:
- Superior customer service or sales experience
- A proven track record in achieving performance expectations
- Administration experience (preferred but not necessary)
- Experience in Allied Health, medicare, DVA, work-cover would be an advantage.
